Brief Description: Pete Dye designed the River Course to challenge the accuracy and consistancy of the PGA Tour professionals, yet still be enjoyable for resort golfers.
The River Course is the home of the Michelob Championship at Kingsmill on the PGA Tour, television viewers are familiar with the course's signature 17th hole. Perched on the banks of the James River, the 177-yard, par-3 hole offers a panoramic view of the historic waterway and its tree-lined shores.
On the River Course, you'll face the same shotmaking challenges as the PGA Professionals, but without all the pressure, of course. |
