Brief Description: Curtis Strange calls Kingsmill home. So we asked our Touring PGA Professional to help design Kingsmill's third championship course. He teamed up with golf architect Tom Clark to create a classic parkland-style design desled in a secluded corner of the resort. Shortly after opening, GOLF Magazine deemed the Woods Course one of the "Top Ten New Courses Available For Public Play."
Tough holes are skillfully blended in with more forgiving ones on this 6,784 yard layout so that players are tested rather than tortured. A unique feature is the double green with a bunker in the center shared by the par-3 twelfth hole and the par-4 fifteenth. The Woods Course is a delight to play, time after time. |
