Display Ads
There are two types of display ads on VirginiaGolf.com, large banners and
small banners. These banners can be placed on various pages within our website.
The pages within the site are rated and color coded for the purpose of advertising
rates. You can look at the website for color coded pages.
Each banner is an animated, two frame display. Visitors can click on
your ad and go directly to your ad page on our site or link to your own
webpage. All production charges are included in your ad rate.
Specials
This is a special section for golf clubs and courses to display special
offers or rates. This section is broken down by region and includes a listing
on the regional front page and a printable coupon which the user can print
and redeem at your club. This is a great incentive for golfers to play different
courses. There is a flat fee of $75.00 per quarter for this service.
Golf Packages
This is a special advertising section for courses and resorts that may offer
stay and play golf packages. Green fees and accomodations for overnight
stays are usually included in one low price. This section is broken down
by region and includes a logo and message on the regional front page and
a "go to" page which describes packages in more detail and contact/reservation
information. There is a flat fee of $100 per quarter for this section.
Space Reservation
Space is limited and we take ad placements on a first-come, first-served
basis. An advertising contract must be signed to reserve your ad space.
Call for special pricing on multiple placements.
Creative Services
Photography, Artwork, Web Design, scanning and consulting services are available
for additional charges. Call for estimates on these services. If you are
placing an ad, production charges are waived.
We accept artwork on Macintosh or PC disks, or printed camera-ready art.
We accept floppies, Zip and CD media.
We are available to talk to you anytime during regular business hours
about your advertising plans. We can also help you develop a comprehensive
plan that can help you take advantage of our advertising schedule. Give

Custom Webpage Design
We offer custom website design and development. You can create your own
stand-alone site on the web where you can describe your company, products
and prices, availabilty, markets and contact information. You can also lead
customers to your site through your print, TV or other advertising media.
It is a great way to have your information available 24 hours a day, 7 days

Terms
VirginiaGolf.com rates are for calendar quarters. Fractions of calendar
quarters are prorated. All advertising must be prepaid unless otherwise
stated in the contract.
Deadlines
Unlike a magazine which has to be prepared weeks in advance, our website
is updated daily. There are no deadlines! However, in order to start cleanly
on a calendar quarter, he reservation must be made by the 15th of the month
preceding the period. |
